Egg Breakfast Cups

Method

  1. Remove crusts and butter bread on both sides. Sprinkle with a savoury salt.
  2. Cut bread into small cubes. Arrange bread and bacon in buttered ramekin dishes.
  3. Mix 2 eggs and milk together and pour over to half-fill the ramekin. Spice.
  4. Bake in a water bath at 160° C for 30 – 40 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and serve hot.

Variation

  1. Replace bacon with Vienna sausages.
  2. Bake for 15 minutes in water bath.
  3. Remove from oven and break a egg into each ramekin.
  4. Bake for another 15-20 minutes until egg is cooked.
  5. Serve hot.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Sasko Everyday Brown
  • Butter or margarine for spreading
  • 4 rashes Bacon, cooked and cut up
  • 2 Eggs
  • 350ml Milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • Savoury salt
