Summer Sizzler
Method
- Place minced beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, sweet chilly sauce and tomato sauce in a bowl and mix well.
- Break the bread slices into the milk, crumble, allow to soak and add to the meat.
- Season with salt and pepper. Mix through gently.
- Shape mixture into 6 meat patties.
- Fry patties in a little olive oil for 7 minutes on both sides, or until cooked to taste.
- Lightly toast and butter the buns.
- Spread a generous amount of cheese spread on the bun.
- Place a patty on top and garnish with lettuce, tomato and onion slices.
Ingredients
- 6 Sasko Regular Plain Bun
- 500 g Lean beef, finely minced
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 5 ml Garlic, finely chopped
- 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 5 ml Sweet chilli sauce
- 15 ml Tomato sauce
- 2 slices UNCLE SALIE WHOLEWHEAT BREAD
- 50 ml Milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
- 40 ml Butter or margarine for spreading
- 60 ml Cheese spread
- Lettuce, sliced tomatoes and onions for garnishing
