Tuna Quiche
Method
- Heat bread, butter/margarine and milk in a saucepan sufficient to create a soft mixture. Cool.
- Press tuna with a fork into a fine mixture.
- Beat eggs till foamy and lightly fold in the tuna mixture, onion, tomato, cheese and parsley.
- Add the soft bread mixture and salt. Lightly stir in the baking powder.
- Bake at 180° C for 20 – 25 minutes till golden brown and puffed.
- Serve immediately or allow to cool and serve cold.
Variation
- *Replace tuna with chicken or bacon and add mushrooms. Suitable for home freezing.

- 30 ml Butter/margarine
- 250 ml Milk
- 1 Tin Tuna
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 medium Tomato, cut into small cubes
- 250 ml Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 Eggs
- 30 ml Parsley
- 5 ml Baking powder
- 1 ml Salt
