Italian Meatballs

Method

  1. Soak bread in the milk for 5 minutes. Squeeze milk out. Add bread to mixing bowl.
  2. Using a fork, loosen bread into wet crumbs.
  3. Add remainder of ingredients, except flour and oil. Mix well.
  4. Form little balls. Dust with flour and shallow fry in hot oil until golden brown and cooked.
  5. Drain on kitchen paper.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Sasko Everyday White
  • 90ml Milk
  • 250g Beef mince
  • 25ml Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 6ml Salt
  • 1 clove Garlic, crushed
  • 10ml Parsley, chopped
  • 25ml Lemon juice
  • 50ml Onion, finely grated
  • 50ml Flour for dusting
  • 15ml Vegetable oil for frying
  • Black pepper to taste
